The question shouldn't be 'is it possible?', but rather 'how to do we achieve it?'

My Biography

Hi, I am a freshman student, class of 2019, here at Pitt. I was born in Bellevue, Nebraska on September 15, 1997. I lived in Omaha, Nebraska until I finished Elementary School. I went Norris Elementary for Kindergarten through 1st grade. Then, for 3rd through 5th grade, I went to Willowdale Elementary. After my fifth grade year, my father got a job offer from Perdue. He ended up taking the job offer, and we moved across the country to Delmar, MD. I started sixth grade at Delmar Middle and Senior High School. I graduated from Delmar Middle and Senior High School in June of 2015, at the top of my class!

While at Delmar Middle and Senior High School, I participated in the marching and concert band and played on the lacrosse team. Additionally, I was a member of the Math League, Science Olympiad, and TSA teams. I placed twice at the Science Olympiad state competition. Currently, I am trying to transfer from the Dietrich School of Arts and Science to the Swanson School of Engineering.

My plan is to study Mechanical Engineering. I hope to get a minor in another field of engineering as well as in another field of study. Some fields of engineering that I am considering include Materials and Electrical Engineering. Outside of the School of Engineering, I am considering a possible minor in Computer Science. I am a member of Robotic and Automation Society and the Pitt chapter of Engineers Without Borders.
