In this year and a half of the plague, I have not traveled much and have
not wanted to travel much. Summer at our lakeside cottage has been a most
welcome respite.

We escaped when we could to a cottage on a lake.
March 13, 2020. (Friday the 13th) At Heathrow airport waiting for my
flight to Pittsburgh after visiting Stockholm. The US halted flights from
Europe, starting at midnight on Friday the 13th. My flight landed at
8:15pm. This was the last day of open travel from Sweden to the US. The
circled announcement in the photo is the gate announcement for the
Pittsburgh flight.
