Castle Interior

A view of the front door from the inside. The inner portcullis is visible. There are murder holes in the atrium.
Spiral staircases turn to the right, so that it's easier to swing a sword when you're facing downward (i.e. defending).
The period kitchen. (Still needs some herbs and dead animals hanging from the walls).
The modern kitchen.
Stained glass by Catelin the Patient. Amazingly, this piece was created before the castle was even built. It's amazing that it fits so perfectly here.
Our bed was hand-carved by Master Langdon of Greymorne.
Artsy shot by Eric Jablonowski attempts to capture the geometry of our bedroom.
