There is not a set way to express interest in becoming a member but a good start would be:

1. Research - read the book In Search of Sisterhood by Paula Giddings, and Click Here to check national website.
2. Attend campus events
3. Take any opportunity to interact with and get to know the members

While having the qualifications is necessary, it does not guarantee being offered membership. Our goal is to select women who not only meet the basic requirements, but also exceed them. Deltas continue the tradition of excellence in all aspects. Therefore, Delta Sigma Theta invites all women to apply who exhibit excellent personal and professional character with high moral code, who have a commitment to giving back in service to the community. Qualifications are :

1. Minimum 2.75 QPA
2. Must have completed at least 24 credits
3. Must be enrolled in a university for at least 12 credits
4. Must have consistent community service involvement

Yes, anyone who meets intake requirements will be given equal consideration.
