Need a metric converter?

I should have remembered to document my first home's journey, which is still ongoing; but, I do have some evidence and lots of stories (with a touch of embelishment; ie, who doesn't want to be remembered as HANDYMAN!?):

But this is more than just home improvement: it is my home (and "home is where the heart is"), so here are some things that interest my heart:

• Backpacking/Camping:
• Bear Run (see Western PA Conservancy)
• Quebec Run (see Forbes State Forest)
• Kennerdell Tract (see Clear Creek State Forest)
• Clear Shade (Map section 3, or see Gallitzin State Forest)
• Or if you're in for some serious camping, try out the Quehanna Trail (I would park by the 62 mile point and take the trail west and then use the west connector to loop back; but, if you're up for it, there's a 75 mile loop that goes through both Moshannon and Elk state forests)
• Or any PA state forest or usually even better is a "wild area" that some of the forests have (but note: not state "park", as you have to pay to camp and you sleep in a non-wild areas (i.e. opposite feel of Quebec Run and Clear Shade), albeit there is great day hike and other natural resources in the parks)
• Great Allegheny Passage*
• Hickory Creek Wilderness (see Allegheny National Forest; or more specifically, the Hickory Creek Wilderness info)
• National Map Viewer
• Gardening:
• For teas (and beauty): St John's Wort, Echinacea, Lavender, and even Dandelion
• To replenish nitrogen in the soil (and for food or tea): Beans, and even Clover
• Staying Active and Eating Right:

"Dravo's Landing is directly behind Dravo Cemetery, six miles south of Boston Trailhead, one and one-half miles north of Buena Vista Trailhead - it is for trail users only - the campground is NOT accessible by car. Free. Room for several tents, two fire rings, and two picnic tables. Permanent restroom facilities. Pump for well water."

"Roundbottom Primitive Campground - Free. Roundbottom is adjacent to the trail and Youghiogheny River. Pump for water, permanent restroom facilities, maximum two nights stay."
