PAS was
engaged to study the activities of the Concord Public Works and School
District services and facilities. The Divisions within the Department of
Public Works which were studied in this project included the Highway
Division which covered Refuse Collection and Disposal; the Cemetery
Division; the Wastewater Division; and Support Services. PAS made a series
of recommendations to improve Public Works. Among these recommendations
were a reorganization of the Department, improved management and operating
practices; revised staffing; and combined divisions. |
