Institutional Analysis
Study of
the institutional, policy, and administration aspects of the development,
operation, and maintenance of water supply and sewerage facilities in
Thailand. Reviewed the institutional structure and the policies for raw
water resources management and allocation, and prepared recommendations to
ensure that domestic and industrial raw water needs receive their due
priority. Recommended measures to remedy policy, institutional
arrangements, processing, and management shortcomings to facilitate the
accelerated development of water supply and sewerage facilities. Examined
institutional and tariff models in water and other utilities in Thailand,
Korea, and China for relevance for adoption in Thailand. Identified areas
in which institutional strengthening would be required, after the
installation of the new facilities. |
