The University of Pittsburgh is an urban campus, three miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. It adjoins the Carnegie Mellon University campus, the Carnegie Museum and Art Gallery, and the green expanses of Schenley Park. Its central building is the landmark Cathedral of Learning, an architecturally notable gothic skyscraper. The Center's offices are on its 11th floor.
