A network can make or break a career. So how do you establish a network? How do you decide who to add? Four panelists will be sharing their insight, tips and experiences on elevating their networks.

About Devin Ulm

Devin Ulm (she/her) is finishing her 4th year as a professional staff member in the Swanson School of Engineering. Currently, she serves as an Academic Advisor in their First-Year Engineering Program. As part of her advising role, Devin instructs Freshman Engineering Seminar and supervises the Engineering Peer Mentors who co-facilitate the course. Her own experiences as an undergraduate engineering student have given her a unique perspective on advising and mentoring first-year engineering students and have inspired her to continue to learn more about women and peer mentoring in STEM. Devin has her M.Ed. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Engineering from Robert Morris University.

About Karen Levin

Karen Levin, PMP has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from CMU, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She is an experienced Program Manager with a combination of engineering, project and program management expertise developed through a career in manufacturing, research and development, information technology and robotics. In her current role as Principal Program Manager with Near Earth Autonomy, she is responsible for managing projects involving the design, development and deployment of autonomous aerial vehicles, with a focus on mobility and inspection applications; she works with customers to provide flight-proven core autonomy technologies, enabling a range of aircraft to operate across multiple applications, helping to create a future where autonomous flight is safe and accessible.

About Mary Ann T Walsh

Mary Ann Walsh has served SWE at all levels – starting with her collegiate years at the University of Pittsburgh. Her Life Membership and more than 35 years of service have been characterized by her passion for women in engineering, encouraging young women to consider a career in engineering, and supporting women in achieving their full potential. She also maintains networks with American Nuclear Society, Women in Nuclear, the University of Pittsburgh Engineering Alumni, Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania, and Carnegie Science Center. Her networking also includes family and community.
Mary Ann retired from a career in nuclear energy. Mary Ann and her husband, Dan have been married for 45 years, they have two grown and married sons and really enjoy spoiling their five grandchildren.

About Lindsay Bonn

Lindsay Bonn graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a B.S in Material Science Engineering. She currently works at Howmet Aerospace as a process engineer for the manufacturing of titanium engine components. She previously served as the FY22 Secretary of Pittsburgh SWE, and is currently a member of Grand Rapids SWE in Michigan. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, ballet dancing and being a dog mom.

About Reneicia Frazier

Reneicia J. Frazier is a graduate from Duquesne University. She obtained a BA in Digital Media and a BA in Psychology. She has been in the IT industry for over 16 years and currently is a Scrum Master for Dick’s Sport Goods. She is a member of SWE, NSBE and the Delta Phi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc. She also is the owner of Diva Doll Photography. Last but not least. She is a self proclaimed Nerd who loves her video games, anime, and 2 fur babies (Tyson and Frankie).
