Heart Blocks |

Heart blocks seem to give providers the most difficulty in interpretation. In this case, there are four blocks. Each block is the result of excessive delay at the AV junction. In some cases, the impulse is completely blocked. The four blocks include First Degree Block, 2nd Degree MobitzType 1 (Wenkebach), 2nd Degree Mobitz Type II (Classical), and 3rd Degree Block.To identify blocks, it is important to follow the five rules. |
