I'm a 23 year old veteran Amiga owner who prefers to use the computer
rather than mope over who hasn't bought the technology this week. I'm
usually on #amiga every day of the week, so give me a wave. I organised
Amijam'95 which was a critical success but a financial turkey -- life goes
on. Have a look at the web page for more details.

I am what makes an Amiga user an Amiga user. I use it for so many
things that it has paid back itself over and over. I go to college at the
University of Central Florida, and I like to draw, animate, listen to
mods, and play, play, play volleyball. Did I say I liked to play
volleyball? Oh...
Alfy jim@amidev.demon.co.uk (James Good)
I got my first Amiga in 1987, a lowly 512K A500... Since then I've
had a A1500, and I now have a 4000 with 10Mb RAM, big disks and nice
screen. I spend most of my time either trawling around BBSs/ The net or
developing stuff... I've recently completed NesQWK (along with Doug
Roberts (Bizzmo)) which is a QWKmail based email fidonet mail system, and
am currently working on a Xenolink QWK door. I also co-sysop on the Little
Green Men BBS, and have been known to leave my Amiga ray-tracing for days
on end! Am interested in anything Amiga, and just wish I could work for a
living developing Amiga Operating Systems/Applications... Rather than on
the ubiquitous PC!

Personal pet peave is people that go around saying this sucks and
that sucks, never actually knowing what they are talking about. If you
actually use a computer or OS and can talk facts and not hearsay from
what you read somewhere, then lets talk. If you come on to spout closed
minded, misinformed, clueless BS then go away. PC's are not like they
where a few years ago when the Amiga ruled. Hardware and Software have

computer has been running for the full 5 years, 24/7. (try that on another
platform), the BBS is connectec to the Internet via ethernet, and my Local
Network is connected to the Internet via a FULL T1. The address for the
BBS is (bbs.tnp.com), I also provide Slip/PPP access to the Internet, and
I do provide services for gettin the Amigas Online.. I'm currently working
to setup a decent size Amiga page, so I'm looking for various articles and
info to put online.. I'm also running a FTP site on another A2000, and
will be storing the complete Aminet files in the near future.. Long live

I tend to pop up on #amiga when I have some spare time, and have
been around for about a year now. I'm into computers and anything
electronic, including lasers, parallel port gizmos, and special effects
devices. I work with the Video Toaster 4000 quite a lot, and am rapidly
becoming a skilled Lightwave user. I run an Amiga 3000/16, with 10 megs
ram and a bunch of hard drives. (240/40/1 gig) I run NetBSD and
Shapeshifter, mostly for the fun of it, just like pretty much everything I
do! :-)

Well, I can safely say that I am an Amigan! I was into the Amiga since
the very first Amiga 500. That's when it all began. Of course, like so
many of us, I had y trusty C-64 before that. Now, I have an Amiga
3000/040, and my 4000/040. I use my 3000 for my BBS, at 418-653-3099. It's
Amiga Elite, Amiga only of course. My 4000 i use for programming only.
(And sometime playing with my EGS or Opalvision card). I consider myself a
Programmer. That's all I do (mostly) for hobby. I think I can do
anything!! (most Amigan could do anything!)
I live in Sainte-Foy, in the province of
Quebec, Canada. (and proud to be. Prettiest girls are in Quebec!)
