This is an aerial view of the National Prawn Company, located in Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea coast not far from where I�m currently working. NPC is the largest producer of marine shrimp in the world..  This farm takes in a veritable river of sea water, distributing them among all of these 10-hectar ponds, each of which produces some 80 tons of shrimp a year.  Overall, this facility produces 18,000 tons of shrimp a year.
