Narrative of your case begins soon after the title. Ideally it is something
that keeps
your audience riveted and hooked to your write up.
A lot of
theory goes into the structure of how your narrative can be but i shall keep
it
brief.
Quest
narratives are those in which you gain a special insight as a result of the
trials of your
patient’s
illness and that way most case-reports
are at best a quest.
The restitution narrative focuses on the restoration of health, which is
definitely
what you need for your patient
while the chaos narrative describes an experience of illness that is
incomprehensible, unpredictable and almost untellable (something that we
could all do without and yet most of us have to accept it at times). Goyal,
