Ronald McDonald House
Alpha Delta Pi's national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House(RMH),
which
serves as a home for families who have terminally ill children. Located near
major hospitals, these homes charge little to no rent, and allow parents a
warm,
comforting place to stay while their child undergoes treatment. Throughout the Year:The sisters of Alpha Delta Pi collect can tabs in order to exchange them for a monetary donation for the RMH. The sisters also visit the Ronald McDonald House, located in Shady Side, once every month. The visits include cleaning the houses where the families stay, ice cream sundae parties, entertaining the children, and bringing over food for the families. |
