Following published scientific evidences, several governments produced
official recommendations, which, with minor variations, include
the supplementation of 0.4 mg of folic acid daily,
from one month before to two months after conception, that is,
PERICONCEPTIONALLY But, There is no sense in providing just one single vitamin
to undernourished poor populations.
