The Gold Standard is the test used now to make the diagnosis, usually only one test. It may be autopsy findings in an individual who had had some tests done before death.
Validity, in this connection, refers to whether the test measures what it means to measure.
Reproducibility (or reliability, or precision) means: does the test, when repeated, give the same result, within a narrow range.
