Relaxing social distancing measures prematurely can result in a second wave possibly even sooner—like sometime this summer.

To stop additional waves, we still need to develop a broad immunity to the novel coronavirus or produce an effective and safe therapeutic/vaccine, which might not be available for another year or longer
