One issue that I have experimented with is the presentation format for your lecture(s).
1. You may choose to place all of the materials for your lecture onto one homepage. This is a bit more time consuming, but provides a nice looking page. Moreover, many students like it because they can print out the lecture and take it with them to stu
dy at another location. A disadvantage of this format is that it involves a lot of scrolling to read the material further down on the homepage. In technical circles, this is not the preferred method for homepage design.
2. You may choose to place your materials in what I call a “Powerpoint” format. Microsoft Powerpoint includes a feature to convert your slides into a HTML presentation. This format places each slide on a different homepage. This design is closer to th
e point and click nature of the Internet, but is very time consuming to print out.
