The average salary for an entry level engineer seems to fall around the $78,000 mark with industrial engineers averaging roughly $65,000 a year on the low end, and systems engineers averaging $89,000 a year on the high end. other departmental and manigiral positons are significantly better paying with seinor engineers and engineering managers making around $120,000 each.

In many cases the work load depends upon the jobs that the company is contracting for in the area and can vary greatly from month to month.
