Naturalizing Aesthetics: The Wonderful Case of Wine

Abstract: I argue that aesthetic judgments about wine have relevant similarities to theoretical judgments in science, especially as both are rooted in a hierarchy of observational statements which ascend from minimally-theoreticized to maximally-theoreticized.
