Steph Stambaugh

Steph joined Panther Cycling Club in fall 2007 as a freshman and is now the treasurer. She raced women's B road last year and ranked in a few points at every race: PSU, Pitt, and Rutgers. She plans on racing well in B this year with hopes of moving up to A's and she plans on racing in at least 5-6 races this year.

Not only is Steph a cyclist, but she is an accomplished triathlete amongst the few other accompished triathletes also in the club. She has been in over 15 triathlons since 2004 and has been named All-American and ranked 4th in the nation her age group in 2006, and 13th in 2008. Steph recently participated in the USAT Age Group National Championships held in Portland, OR this september and won 2nd in her age group and qualified for the 20-24 age group International Triathlon Union World Championships for 2009. Steph is also part of the University of Pittsburgh Cross Country and Track teams and enjoys swimming up at Trees pool with Team Pittsburgh swim club.
