Many of the publications listed on our reading and Pittsburgh writing community pages will provide good leads for you if you are looking to be published. You are also welcome to stop by the Writing Center and consult our copies of the Directory of Little Magazines or the Writer's Market (please bring your i.d and plan to consult the book in the Writing Center). Here are some other opportunities:

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is one of the few U.S. metropolitan newspapers to publish and pay for poems regularly. Each Saturday, a poem is published in the paper's editorial section.
