Dr Burgert has been involved in science education workshops for several years -Faculty for the NASA Teacher Training Program, and as Director of Science in Motion, a science outreach project that connects the Pennsylvania Department of Education, schools with the Intermediate Unit #9, and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
