Derek Churchill is a lecture and curator of visual resources. He was curator (with Susan B. Matheson) of the exhibition Modern Gothic: The Revival of Medieval Art at the Yale University Art Gallery (2000) and coauthor of its catalogue. A specialist in the art of the Northern Renaissance, he is currently completing a doctoral dissertation titled “Replication in the Early Netherlandish Tradition: Dieric Bouts and His Copyists” (Yale, forthcoming).
