Learners
This lesson is presented during the sophomore year of a 2-year
ASN Nursing Program.
The students
are expected to have completed:
Prior
to beginning this webquest, is assumed that the learner:
- knows fundamental
nursing care practices
- has an understanding
of how to develop a patient plan of care.
The student
is expected to synthesize the knowledge learned during the WebQuest
and apply it to a fictional patient to provide an appropriate
plan of care for a patient with a cardiac arrhythmia.
This lesson
could be extended to graduate nursing students during their orientation
to a telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting.
