The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents preserves and interprets the art, culture and history of African Americans in Western Pennsylvania and people of African descent throughout the world.

The AWC presents and produces performing arts programs, including dance, music, and theater, visual arts programs, held at the center’s 209/9th Street Gallery) and education programs.

Student discounts are available for most events, and vary per event.
