Wang Wei got his PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Now he is an associate professor at the Institute of Science, Technology and Society, Tsinghua University. His main interest is general philosophy of science and his publication includes two books, Relativism: From a Point of View of Paradigm, Language and Rationality (2003) and Some Issues in Philosophy of Science (2004), 14 articles and two translation, N. Cartwright’s The Dappled World and J. Searle’s Rediscovery of Mind. As the general secretary of Local Organizing Committee, he is in charge of 13 th International Congress of Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science, which will be hosted by Tsinghua University in 2007. He was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in 2004-2005 academic year and now a Visiting Fellow at Center for Philosophy of Science, University of Pittsburgh for 2005-2006 academic year. He is fond of badminton, table tennis, swimming, ballroom dance (international standard), windsurfing, canoeing, tourism, and photography.
