The goal of One Health is to improve the health and well-being of plants and animals through a better understanding of complex relationships and dependencies between humans, animals, and the environment . Aflatoxin management at a global level requires such an approach because aflatoxins occur world-wide and adversely effect both human and animal  health in regions where they occur.
