Capital Planning

Vice Provost Pack is responsible for space utilization and allocation within the Provost’s area and capital planning. He was instrumental in developing the University Ten Year Facilities Plan.

He regularly:

  • reviews the effective utilization of space within the academic areas;
  • reassigns space to meet the changing goals and needs of the academic and student life programs;
  • ensures that the needs of the academic and student life programs of the University are advanced in University capital planning;
  • monitors the progress of capital projects within the Provost’s area; and
  • coordinates facilities management, budgeting, and project management between departments involved in projects.
