Budgeting

Vice Provost Pack has overall budget management responsibility within the Provost’s Area. This includes monitoring all budgets and resources within Provost Area units as well as the management of budget and payroll of the Provost’s Office. He has additional responsibility with regard to monitoring staff hiring and compensation within the Provost's area.

Vice Provost Pack coordinates resource allocations to various units in order to better serve and further the development of the University as a whole. His extensive responsibilities include his involvement in the coordination and monitoring of the University’s Planning and Budgeting System and the University Planning and Budgeting Committee, including the development of the annual University operating and capital budgets. Dr. Pack also has oversight on student athlete academic issues.
