1.This
is an example of meta-analyses comparing low (standard) dose or statin
therapy versus high-dose with respect to a range of cardiovascular
disease outcomes.
2.Whereas
the results are highly statistically significant, the absolute
difference in major vascular event rates (22.1% versus 19.0%) is rather
modest.
