The 6th international latin american cultural studies conference at the University of Pittsburgh april 1-3, 2010

 

Moisés Agosto-Rosario. Moisés Agosto-Rosario was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1965. He has a BA from the University of Puerto Rico, 1988. He is considered member of the 1980¹s generation of poets in Puerto Rico. He published Poemas de Lógica Inmune (1991). His poetry and narrative have been published en various journals as well as in anthologies in Puerto Rico and in other countries. In 2007 published his short fiction book Nocturno y otros desamparos. With David Caleb Acevedo and Luis Negrón co-edited the first gay, lesbian and queer anthology in Puerto Rico, Los Otros Cuerpos. Among his non-published or in the process of being published he has the novel Memoria y vida de Francisco del Toro, Mafias de orden (short fiction) and a book of poems, Inmunología poética (the last two to be published). Right now he is working in a book of chronicles from his trips doing community work in Africa. He seats at the board of directors of Salón Literario Libroamérica en Puerto Rico and is an active member of HomoerÓtica.
