Colin MacCabe

Colin MacCabe is professor of English. He teaches literature of the 17th century and literature and media in the 20th century.

He is currently working on the teaching of English and a biography of Jean-Luc Godard.

His research interests include a history of English since 1500, psychoanalysis, Joyce, and linguistics.

He is editor of Critical Quarterly, and his publications include James Joyce and the Revolution of the Word and Godard: Images, Sounds, Politics.
