AnnotatEd (Annotation for Education)

Overview

AnnotatEd is a system that enables learners to annotated online pages by writing notes on the side of the pages and highlighting different part of the text of the page.

AnnotatEd keeps track of all activities of learners including type on their annotation. It uses the learners' activity information to offer social navigation support for hyperlinks inside the AnnotatEd system. AnnotatEd tried to collect learners feedback in the natural way of annotation and employ the feedback to provide navigation support.

AnnotatEd and Knowledge Sea are connected to each other meaning that activities of the learners are passed from AnnotatEd to Knowledge Sea and Annotated can be accessed from Knowledge Sea.
