1.When
evaluating for skew, look for extreme values denoted by the asterisks.
2.As
seen, triglycerides are positively skewed as there are extreme high
(positive) values.
3.Many
times in health research, triglycerides are “transformed” for
statistical test, such as by taking the natural logarithm of the actual
value. This removes much of the skewness.
